3/4HP Electric, dual drum winch for overhead volleyball systems
Worm gear winch, designed to hold overhead volleyball system at any position when raising or lowering. Winch frame is heavy gage painted steel. The two adjacent 4-1/2" diameter cable drums are cast aluminum, with grooves to provide neat and consistent cable tracking. A torsion spring tensioner ensures cable will keep alignment, even under no load.
Cable provided is 1/4" [6.5mm] 7x19 galvanized steel aircraft cable. Drum will hold 35 ft [10.7m] of cable on a single layer. The top speed of the cable is 9.7 feet per minute [3.0m/min].
The heat-dissipating gearbox contains a worm and gear set in a factory-filled oil bath which is completely sealed for maintenance free service. The winch features positive locking in the double reduction worm gear drive that provides 200:1 reduction rate for a strong hold under load. No additional braking is required.
