Very effective accessory
If you have a pole vault pit set up on a track surface and are tired of always having to bump the pit back into place this thing is a game changer. Very effective for holding the pit in place. Prevents standard placement errors for standards which are calibrated on the base pads but lose accuracy as the pit slides back

Great Idea/Design
We recently purchased the PIT STOP for our pole vault pits and it has really improved the operation of our system. With the constant impact on the pads, they would eventually slide or move out of place. This would require us to undo the padding and slide it back into place on a frequent basis. After installing the new Gill PIT STOP, our pads rarely move. This product has helped us ensure the pads stays where they need to be and has cut down on major adjustments throughout the season.
