Excellent starting blocks, after years of having the more budget friendly options this year we purchased a full set of F8 blocks and it has been well worth it. Angled spikes eliminate any issues with blocks slipping or need for block holders(little bit of Loctite keeps them from coming out). These should last for many years to come.
We've had these blocks at Millersville for years & between practices, taking them to meets & hosting meets I can tell you that this is a very durable product. Very pleased & coming from a school with a limited equipment budget it's good to have the peace of mind that we have this category covered for thr foreseeable future
Ordered 10 last year for our new indoor facility. Loved the size of the pedals as well as the structure of them. These blocks NEVER slip and that was important to us when purchasing for our new facility. Easy to put together and take care of. Great bang for our buck!
I’ve been a fan of the Fusion starting block ever since it hit the market. What I love most about the Fusion F8 is the pedal width is designed to accommodate a more natural pushing position for a variety of body types by allowing the athlete to have a wider or narrower stance. The multiple angle pedal adjustment accommodates all strength levels serving as a great teaching tools for less developed athletes. Finally, these blocks are easy to adjust and are built to withstand heavy use.
We transitioned to the Fusion line of starting blocks in 2010. They are by far the most well thought-out blocks that absolutely will not slip. No more recruiting helpers to stand on blocks at the start!
When we decided to replace our starting blocks for indoor and outdoor use at the collegiate level and we found the Fusion series provided a high level of options and movements both our athletes and staff wanted. Our inventory has grown to over 18 blocks, different color pads keeps everything organized. These are well made blocks, and replacement parts are easy to order when needed even after a decade...
I’ve been using this style of block as a coach since the trial sets were produced many years ago and have always been impressed. Durable, practical, great looking, and the best starting block on the market. I’ve always loved the extra width for our bigger sprinters and nothing is better than pedals that stay attached! Brilliant improvement over all other starting blocks. We now have a full set of the Fusion Blocks for practice and meets, and I couldn’t be happier.
The Fusion Starting Block is very popular with our athletes. Our athletes love the feel and comfort of the pedal, especially the large base. The blocks are used very often in training and in the multiple events held on our facility and they have held up greatly. Don't waste your time on a less quality product
